Healthy Eating

A healthy lifestyle is something that many of us want but in some cases have no idea how to achieve, for example If you have high cholesterol. Some things can’t be changed; like the risk you inherit from your parents, your age and any symptoms you already have.

But you can help improve your cholesterol levels by eating a healthier diet and adopting foods that actively lower cholesterol. Your health can also be improved by being more physically active, stopping smoking, and losing weight. Don’t expect to change your lifestyle overnight, but small changes can result in a big difference to your health over time.

My main recommendation is to try to drink plenty of water, because water makes up about two-thirds of the weight of a healthy body, most of the chemical reactions that happen in our cells need water in order to take place. We also need water so that our blood can carry nutrients around the body and get rid of the bodies waste products.

Cut down on fast food and junk food In many cases, fast foods are foods that are highly processed and contains large amounts of carbohydrates, added sugar, unhealthy fats, and salt. These foods generally contain a high number of calories but offer little or no nutritional value.

Eating a diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables they are loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants, which have been shown to protect against chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer. They are also low in calories, making them a great choice for your waistline.

Certain cuts of meat and poultry are lower in fat. Lean cuts of beef include round, chuck, sirloin and tenderloin. Lean pork or lamb includes tenderloin, loin chops and leg. The leanest poultry is white meat from the breast with no skin.

Eat as much whole foods or unprocessed as possible these are foods that are unrefined, or processed and refined as little as possible, before being consumed. Whole foods typically do not contain added salt, carbohydrates, or fat. Examples of whole foods include unpolished grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, and animal products, including meats and dairy products.
